A functional and esthetic cellar

There are three cellars in the château : a stainless-steel cellar, a cement cellar and a barrel cellar.

At the first level, there are the stainless-steel vats. These 19 vats can contains from 150 to 250 hectolitres of wine each and have temperature control.

An optimum ageing in an underground cellar

Under the stainless-steel vats, there are cement vats.

They are in the underground and are ideal to age the wine, because the temperature is always the same.

The barrel cellar, an enigmatic place

Enfin, entre de lourds murs de pierre sont stockées 250 barriques qui conservent le vin durant une année entière et lui donnent une âme.

Au château Cablanc, le chêne servant à fabriquer les barriques provient de France, d'Amérique ou de Hongrie.

La perméabilité du bois assure une oxygénation lente, faible mais constante, favorable au bouquet, c'est-à-dire à l'expression des arômes de vieillissement.
